The Faculty of Business and Economic Sciences at the University of Girona is
located in an old charming city in the north-east of Spain, which enjoys a
plentiful cultural atmosphere. Its departments of Economics and Business
jointly offer 4-year degrees in Accounting and Finance, in Business
Administration and Management and in Economics, besides a master's
programme. The interests of the main research groups deal with industry and
services, with statistics and health econometrics, with public services,
with environmental economics, and with fuzzy mathematics applied to
management, resulting in more than 100 articles in ISI journals during the
last 5 years.
