Reader in Business Economics
The appointment will be full time on UCL Grade 9. The salary range will be £51,052 - £55,512 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
The UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES) is a world-leading multidisciplinary specialist institution for the study of Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, and Russia.
This post will build on existing SSEES research in economics and business that takes Central and Eastern Europe and Russia as its region of reference. The post is one of eight permanent posts within Economics and Business at UCL SSEES. In addition to conducting research through publications and collaborative projects, the successful candidate will provide doctoral student supervision, teach on core and specialist courses within the BA and MA programmes, and play a senior role in the academic and administrative work of SSEES and UCL.
This appointment is available from 1 September 2012.
The successful candidate will have a recognised international record of achievement in research as demonstrated through a series of publications that are world-leading in terms of originality, significance and rigour. The candidate will also provide evidence of a trajectory leading to further outstanding research achievement.
Potential applicants may wish to note that in addition to removal expenses a relocation supplement of £9,000 may be payable when it is necessary to relocate to take up an appointment at UCL.
