The candidate will write a doctoral thesis under the supervision of Prof. Vandenberghe on the research project entitledEmployment, Wage Discrimination and Poverty (EDIPO)-The firm-level evidence” (click for full description). The aim of the project is to assess the situation of groups among the population facing labour-market barriers using firm-level evidence. The research is that it implies the use of matched employer-employee data, and a marked focus on firm-level labour productivity. The project is financed for two years by the research program “Society and Future” of the Belgian Federal Science Administration (BESLPO).
