The European Business School (EBS) International University Schloss Reichartshausen in Wiesbaden/Oestrich-Winkel is currently on an dynamic international course of expansion. Today, EBS is ranked among the leading business schools in Germany and is not only setting high quality standards in teaching and research, but also new standards in continuing professional education.

The programme runs in cooperation with the Graduate School of Economics, Finance and Management, Goethe University Frankfurt. Successful applicants will be expected to complete the PhD coursework, consisting of highly demanding courses in econometrics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and theoretical and empirical finance during the first two years of the programme. For successful applicants a tuition waiver and additional scholarship of € 12.000,- for the first year may be available.

Applicants will be offered Research Assistant positions at the EBS in their second and third year.

Applicants should have a strong interest in substantive economic and financial issues, and strong analytical and quantitative skills, as well as clarity of thought and expression. Applicants should generally possess a master degree with distinction in economics, statistics or business administration. Exceptional students coming from related fields such as mathematics or statistics are also encouraged to apply. Emphasis of the programme is on quantitative, formal analysis. All applicants are required to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) aptitude test. A minimum quantitative score of 700 is required. Scholarships will be available for outstanding applicants.
