The Institute of Development Studies is a leading global institution for research, teaching and communications on international development, based at the University of Sussex campus in Brighton, UK.

 

The Globalisation Team is examining changes in globalisation arising from the increasing importance of new, dynamic economies, particularly in Asia, and the multiple crises that are presenting new challenges for global stability and global governance. To pursue further this agenda, the team seeks to recruit three new Fellows who have research experience and expertise in one or more of the following areas:

    -  Business and development (job ref 376)

    -  Global governance (job ref 377)

    -  International finance and development (job ref 378)

    -  Low carbon innovation (job ref 379).

 

Candidates for all posts should have a PhD in a relevant discipline and at least five years of experience as a researcher or teacher in higher education.

Salary range: £32,528 - £51,070 per annum (depending on experience)
