Apply for a PhD scholarship to join the Behavioural and Economic Science Cluster (BESC) as a doctoral researcher at the University of Queensland.
The PhD student will be hosted by School of Economics at the University of Queensland and the BESC. The UQ School of Economics is ranked by the Australia Research Council as one of the leading economic departments in Australia. It hosts the Behavioural and Economic Science Cluster, a large group of research studying human decisions. The members of the BESC work on the theoretical and empirical study of decisions. The topics of research range from social and risk preferences to strategic and political decisions. The group aims to push the frontiers of theoretical and empirical research on economic behaviour, with the view that the behavioural sciences are undergoing a methodological unification across both social and natural sciences. The group's research covers both fundamental research in decision theory and game theory and applied research in domains such as education, health, and finance.
